Hospital Upgrades Continues

In 2009, we were thrilled that our beautiful new Healing Garden was completed in time for our five year CHW celebration on October 2, but the improvements don’t stop there! Many physical plant improvements occurred in 2009 at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital and even more upgrades continue into the New Year.

Other areas that have been improved at the hospital include fresh paint and new flooring in Day Stay Surgery, and the start of the Annex remodeling project including new ceilings, paint, and flooring. This year, plant improvements include continuing the remodeling of patient rooms as well as a brand new waiting area in our Diagnostics Department. The new waiting room will free up more space in Outpatient/ER lobby waiting area as well as add two new public restrooms.

Several patient rooms on the Med-Surg Floor have been nicely remodeled with many more to be done this new year.
