AGCH Wins Avatar Award for Exceeding Patient Expectations
For the second year in a row, Arroyo Grande Community Hosptial (AGCH) has been recognized for quality health care service for its patients by receiving the prestigious Exceeding Patient Expectations Award by Avatar International Inc. for 2006. Avatar is the leader in measuring customer expectations in health care. Avatar compiles the results of patient satisfaction surveys upon discharge. Patients are asked several customer service questions including, "I would recommend Arroyo Grande Community Hospital to a family member or friend," and "I would return to Arroyo Grande Community Hospital without hesitation."
